Kelkoo are pleased to announce that they have relaunched their affiliate program on TradeDoubler. Along with the relaunch comes a new affiliate team, a wide variety of new creatives and most importantly of all, hugely increased commissions. You can now earn up to 25p per lead. A lead is classified as a click to Kelkoo and then off to a merchant store.
Kelkoo Kommissions:
The Kelkoo affiliate scheme has been running for 2 years. During this time we have gained a thorough understanding of the most effective ways to work with our affiliates and in turn, we have decided to reward them all with extremely competitive rates.
Kelkoo offers a variety of highly competitive rates per lead based on the Kelkoo category in which the lead is made.
Rates are set as follows. Leads made in:
Cultural (books, games, music and film) = 10p per lead
Mobile Phones = 15p per lead
Computing = 15p per lead
Electrical = 15p per lead
Travel = 25p per lead
General (any other category not listed here) = 10p per lead
In order to maximise the earning potential for each affiliate, we believe in working closely with our affiliates from the moment they apply.

Can't see the point in making affiliates sites then spending my time promoting another affiliate site (Kelkoo).
Best to promote the merchants direct and make more money !
Cheers
Aly
I can understand why you might think this but generating a lead is far easier than making a sale, hence why Kelkoo have become Europe's largest e-commerce website after Amazon and Ebay and the largest e-commerce advertising platform both in the UK and Europe.

Kelkoo - Compare. Buy. Save.
"Kelkoo have become Europe's largest e-commerce website after Amazon and Ebay"
Not really a comparison there.
Amazon sell things.
Ebay auction things
Kelkoo do none of these, it is, in your words, an "e-commerce advertising platform" ( corperate speak for an affiliate site?! )
Cheers
Aly
right. I send traffic to mobile phones. I earn 7p a lead?
am i missing something I thought it was 15p for mobile phone leads
Kelkoo got big on the back of Adware.
I used to think that it was stupid to send traffic to price comparison sites like kelkoo etc
But there EPC is much better than many merchants. Its better than Dixons, better than E2Save etc, plus if you don't have the technical know how to do price comparison here is an opportunity to send your visitors to something that is actually useful.
I didn't know that Aquanuke - not that this is a reason not to make a stand but can you say hand on heart that you don't promote any merchant that have never used adware in the past?
Hi Luke,
If you send traffic through to the mobile channel and the user then makes a lead in books you will only get 10p for example.
The fact that you got 7p is a little strange I will look into this immediately with TD.

Ed

I promote Kelkoo (and Pricerunner), but am starting to come
round to a previously stated opinion:Especially when you see Kelkoo in all the top positions on Google. Can't see the point in making affiliates sites then spending my time promoting another affiliate site (Kelkoo).
Nope. I'm removing my links to Kelkoo
(just as soon as I get round to it :-) )
Steve
"Especially when you see Kelkoo in all the top positions on Google"
Come on this is an exaggeration isn't it - I see them, but not in all the top positions or even a quarter of them..
I would rather send traffic to Kelkoo and earn 10p a click then send it to Dixons and earn 2p. (Sorry Dixons dont mean to keep picking on you, you're not the only one!)
I'd rather help a fellow "affiliate" then a big corporate monster that pays us pittance for our traffic.
Couldn't agree more with Luke...been promoting Kelkoo for a while now and always make a decent sum at the end of the month hassle-free. Will be making even more now for doing nothing extra thanks to the increased commission...25p for a Travel lead? I like the sound of that!
Putting aside the adware issue I agree with Luke.
Especially when you consider the cr*p commission offered by the merchants, see;-
http://www.a4uforum.co.uk/showthread...threadid=20797
2% for IT products !!
To match Kelkoo rates on 50% of the products on Redspans home page you would need a conversion rate of better than 10%
In other words get ten people looking at a £75 IT product on Kelkoo you earn £1.50 - get 10 people looking on Redspan you get jacksh*t - you need the sale to make £1.50.
Of course this is just one example I have chosen to fit the arguement - but it does illustrate that Kelkoo can be effectively used when merchants are offering low commission.
Meanwhile - anybody at Kelkoo going to answer morleymouse ?
I do take your point (and Lukes),2% for IT products !!
and I can see how having a comparison shopping aspect to your
site is of benefit to your site visitors. And, right now, I make
very little money from Kelkoo. So it's quite easy for me to
bin them and look for an alternative (one that I can integrate
into my site, say).
Anyway...
Meanwhile - anybody at Kelkoo going to answer morleymouse ?
