    Hi Guys,

I have a DVD related site and on the site I have the cd-wow top 10 chart. So far this monthI have given them 63 Unique visitor with no conversion.

In fact, I seem to get hardly any conversions on anything. In the last few months I seems to get no conversions on lots of places. Such as sendit.com I have given them 93 Unique visitors with no conversions, Video Island have had 53 with no conversions. Dixons have had 293 Unique visitors with no conversions.

Is this the norm? these are normal click throughs on various banners on my site, not any special scripts to force the visitors, they are clicking on thier own accord.... I would have thought that I would get some kind of conversion rate? or could I be doing something wrong?

    Cheers for any help

    Craig

...work on 1% as an average for most merchants and sadly less for some like Currys....but hey, thats only my opinion as a rough rule!

My best is about 50% others as low as 0.03% - but thats only me and it depends muchly on how well your traffic is targetted...

    Thanks for that guys......

Think I will give Dixons a miss because its doing nothing for me at all even though I am sending hundreds of visitors thier way.

I guess I will just have tto persevere for more clicks. Any tips?

    Cheers Guys

Conversion ratios are pretty low all around these days. People surf numerous sites and then make a purchase, if at all.

Also is a very slow time of year. Our sales plummet at summer time.

Hope they pick up for you after the hols
