New Program: Telcom Europe - SMS tracking

TeleCom Europe Mobile is one of the worlds biggest providers of Premium services for mobile phones and right now we offer everything from ring tones to weather services. We start our campaign with TradeDoubler by offering 'Chat'.

How does TradeDoubler track SMS'?
After you have applied to the program and you choose one of the graphical elements for the program you will automatically be assigned a unique code (that looks something like 'AAFTO') - this code is shown in the banner, for instance:

SEND THE MESSAGE CHAT AAFTO to 89425

Where the code AAFTO would be unique to you.

Therefore, it is important that you do not create text links but only use the graphical material that are available for the program.

All affiliates start at 14p per SMS and will be upgraded to 18p when you reach 1000 SMS messages and to 22p when you reach 5000 SMS messages.

The average number of SMS’ per user is 40.8 which means that you can earn up to 40.8 x 22p = £8.98 per visitor.

it looks like it costs the user £1.50 for a reply. My conscience cannot deal with that sort of rip off.

Not for only 22p anyway :-)

... oh, its quite clever though, with the unique number for each aff per graphic.

With that and DGM 'impression based cookies' for oxfam it looks as though things are moving nicely.

I've never understood the attraction of these sms chat rooms and I don't think I ever will at £1.50 a message, still I've bunged a banner up, let's see what happens.
