    Hi,

From the 1st October The Link and Currys affiliate programme will managed in house by the Currys and The Link teams.

Wheel has managed and grown their programmes over the last year but as the internal Currys and The Link team have grown, they have decided to take the management in house.

Wheel will continue to manage the Dixons and PC World programmes.

New contact details for Currys and The Link are:
    Name: James Carter
    Email: james.carter@dixons.co.uk
    Tel: 07730 540760

    Kind Regards

    Ricki and Hayley

We would like to thank Wheel for all their efforts and hard work over the past 12mths.

As mentioned we have decided to take the Currys programme back in house due to our internal team expanding. I will be your main contact for Currys, my contact details are shown below.

We are really excited about working closer with our affiliates, the results and growth we have seen from this area over the last twelve months has been massive.

To re-launch our programme we would like to announce new commissions for the Month of October.

We are going to increase ALL commissions tiers for October by 1%

We really value your contribution to our business and this is our way of saying, thanks for all your hard work so far.

We have a monthly promotional calendar in place… you should see the deal we have for you in November!!!

The Currys site is performing and converting at record levels at the moment, if you currently don’t promote Currys you’re missing out on a lot of commission so you’d better sign up soon.

    Cheers

    James

The Link would also like to thank Wheel for their hard work over the last six months. The Link team has grown and the decision has been taken to bring the management of our growing affiliate business back in house. I will be your main contact for The Link, my contact details are shown below.

The Link is a great brand and we are really looking forward to working directly with our affiliate partners. To launch we would like to announce the following:

This is an unbelievable offer (took me ages to get signed off)

We are going to scrap all current commission tiers for The Link for October…….. All affiliates are going to be placed in the general tier and all confirmed contract leads will be paid at an amazing £35.00..for the month of October.

This is an increase of £15.00 per lead for October on the General Tier )

OK, at the end of October we will look at all the affiliate performances and re-tier based on October’s performance. The general tier will start at £25.00 and top tier will be a competitor beating amazing £50.00..

October is set to be a “Bumper Month for Affiliates” so get those links up and promote “The Link”

All other commissions will stay the same:

    Sales 5.00%
Pay As You Go sale 5.00%

The Link site is performing and converting at record levels at the moment, if you currently don’t promote The Link you’d better sign up soon. We hope to launch a new product feed for The Link soon.

Ok, I think that’s it, any questions please do not hesitate to contact me.

    Cheers
    James

    Firstly welcome to the forum,

From our own personal experience with The Link & Currys, we feel The Wheel Group have successfully nurtured these two programs, which we do relatively well with. Its a shame they have been left with the (and this is only our opinon) the weaker two of the four programs.

As agencies go, where many find it difficult to see where they fit into this media space, Wheel have always been approachable & regularly communicated with us both understanding & appreciating affiliate marketing more than most.

Please can we have the assurance from yourselves that the program & affiliates will not be interfered with to any detrimental effect, as from our perspective it has been handed over in a positive condition. By allowing us a free reign whilst we understand & communicate the brand correctly as well as generating sales.

The reason for my wariness is that we have seen good programs change in management and consequently go downhill. Managing an affiliate program properly is not as straight forward as it seems. Plus having to build up a whole new rapport.

But good luck with the programs & we look forward to working with you more closely in the future.

Thanks for your comments and your welcome to the forum.

We certainly want to continue to support our affiliates, we see this as a fantastic opportunity to grow our business even further. If there is anything we can do please drop me a line.

Thanks to the affiliates who have sent me emails wishing us luck.

    Cheers

    James

PS – just run last weeks reports and it looks like a great weeks business, thanks.
