Home insurance bought through Budget in December has so far not tracked as a sale on TD.

It says on the TD budget page that their last batch update was 31 jan, I dont know if that means all sales are entered up to that date, or is that just the last date sales were uploaded, I suspect it is the later, and if that is the case... it is stupid.

If you are still waiting for a december sale I doubt you will see it now.

Hi

Budget pay for all sales originating from an online quote, providing the policy is not cancelled within 14 days of the policy start date. This unfortunately means that confirmed sales will not show for 2 weeks after the policy has been purchased, so there is a time delay. Also there is a standard 2 month lag to allow Tradedoubler time to invoice, receive payment and pay affiliates.

However I did send Tradedoubler the final sales for January on Monday, I have also spoken to TradeDoubler as it doesn't look to me as though the whole batch has been updated. They have assured me they are looking into this and I am expecting them to come back to me asap.

Please accept my apologies for any inconvenience caused. We are still new to the Tradedoubler platform and so your feedback is very important to us.

Please let me know if you have any further queries.

Lucy

I know budget UK is new to affiliate marketing and I'm sure most of us accept the apologies for approval delays, but it is so difficult to work with these massive waiting times.

We are in February! how can we still be talking about approval for december sales?

Question 180 Solutions and Budget Insurance...

Lucy,

Can you confirm or deny my findings that Budget Insurance / BISL LTD currently advertise with 180 Soluions adware, targetting over 30 URLS?

Matthew.

Whilst I wait for a reply to Matt's post, I have dumped TradeDoublers merchant - 'Budget insurance' I am not having that!

That lucy girl from budget, when it comes to the positive... she is straight in there with a reply... when it comes to the spy ware answer, she seems no where to be seen.

Terrible. Terrible. terrible, terrible.

  180 Solutions and Budget Insurance

Hi

I find it hurtful that you state I am only quick to reply to positive responses, considering I have been quick to respond on the forum to sales reporting issues.

Sorry for my delayed response on this matter but I felt it important to post a considered response to your concerns.

Yes we are conducting a trial with 180 solutions in a controlled manner, by this I mean we make and continue to make every effort to ensure that our affiliate sites are not targeted.

I would like to clarify that Budget Insurance Services are not working with 180 solution through TradeDoubler.

If you have any concerns about your site being affected by our working with 180 solutions please contact me.

As I have mentioned in previous postings we are new to affiliate marketing and I hope you find us responsive.

Kind Regards

Lucy

  Arrow 180....

Thanks Lucy,

Whilst I don't personally condone the use of 180 solutions.. infact using it is commercial suicide for your affiliate program and I would urge you to stop, I appreciate your honesty.

Matthew.

Lucy,

I know 180 can give a good pitch, but isn't at least one of the domains your using as a trigger also a direct affiliate of yours? (c-m-i) You are using sites that are affiliates of other compaines as triggers. (i-v-i) Do you really think it is fair to divert an affiliate's, or anyone else's, traffic in this way?

(Sounds like you've been busy Matt!)
