Is anyone still using Mobiles 2 your door?

I ask the question because I've just got fed up with Fontastic as they dont convert so before changing to M2YD I though I'd try them with PPC for a few days.

Adwords says I've sent 124 clicks in the last 4 days but TD says only 18 clicks.

Is there a problem with tracking here or am I missing something?

Hi,

The TD stats are for unique visitors in a day. However, I think they can't determine AOL users.

You may have several clicks from the same IP address within a day

I cant see it being each visitor clicking my link on an average on ten times.

If TD cant detect clicks for AOL users, can they detect sales OK?

I've just run a report on adwords and google says it's had a fairly consistent 20 - 40 clicks per day on this one advert, yet TD says between 3 and 8 clicks on each day.

Sorry if I'm raking over old ground for you more experienced affiliates but this discrepancy is really bugging me as I dont get it with an indipendant programme that I use abit.

I always get a discrepancy with TD Reports - usually around 10 - 15% out compared to Adwords.

I've moved links where possible to other networks - they're usually no more than 4% out at most, and one of them under 0.5%

HTH

Chris

Hi Andrew,

sorry to hear about the confusion you are having with the TradeDoubler reports. It's possible your account has not been setup for keyword reporting, so although you are not losing sales (sales always track), clicks will be registering in your "traffic error" report.

Please can you send me an email with your username/siteID and I will take a look at your account and clear this issue up for you.

Many thanks,

Nick

Hi Nick

I've emailed you my username.

Looking in my Traffic Error report there are alot of listings in there for Google so it does look as if this is the problem.

Thanks again for looking into this for me as it puts my mind at rest.

Andrew
