  Payments - whats the point?

Well, got paid today by TradeDoubler, but the following merchants have yet again failed to cough up the money owed;

LOVEFiLM - due 03/02/05
MediaTransfer - due 11/02/05
Whiskas - due 31/12/04
freemoney.fm - due 03/02/05
Blinddater - due 03/12/03

Is it just me, or is everyone else getting slightly hacked off with the constant late payments from Merchants on the TD network?

Also, how pushy are TD at getting payments from the Merchants?

Getting extremely fed up with this network of late, what with constantly allowing merchants to pay the bills when the merchant wants to, or see's fit, significant T&C's that aren't mentioned on the merchants 'home page' with in the network website.....

Am having a moan I know, but its really doin my head in big time now.

Still waiting for lovefilm payment as well.

Luckily this is the only merchant with late payment.

They should introduce a late fee for merchants so they have to pay affiliates for each late payment.

That shud ensure encourage them to pay up on time.

Email them first and find out if it's TD or they who are delaying payment.

Shareasale have a good system where you can see if a merchant is set-up for auto update of there account when funds get low so that there is always money in the account to pay affiliates. I always try to choose one of these if I can.

If you dont get a satisfactory answer DUMP em. If they cant payup on time there's plenty more marchants out there who want to work with you.

  Not enough

Hi,
Its not enough to DUMP them, there are plenty other affiliates out there. What needs to happen is for several affiliates to DUMP them with plenty of publicity. They will then know!

I am a publicity man!!

If you have lost say 10% of your earnings then TD need to have that loss too, to understand. Acording to thier site though they are doing really well. That probably means you and me are now less important.

If receiving payment meant the difference of them keeping their jobs at TD I would bet they would get your payments.

If TD were the only network I would believe thier problems of receiving payment. But as a member of several and the only issues have had are with TD I won't!

Why not email their headquaters in Sweden? If sufficient emails find their way there questions will be asked about how the UK operation is managed.

Mark

Yep, and this months Lovefilm invoice was due today as well.

LOVEFiLM GB-05-00127 03/02/05
LOVEFiLM GB-05-00668 03/03/05

Luckily I'm not waiting on much money (I'm more concerned about screen select canceling leads).
