From their latest newsletter:
There have been a number of issues arising around deletions. Referral deletions made by ScreenSelect are based on authorisation of a customer registration which is done in two ways.
We only accept registrants with accurate up-to-date credit card details and our Ts and Cs make it clear that there is only one trial allowed per household. Until the customer reaches the confirmation page, we won't authorise the lead so what looks like a qualified lead from an affiliates perspective is open to deletion.
Similarly we have partnership deals with Dixons, Boots, Virgin Megastores and many more. Only one party can reasonably lay claim to a single referral and rather than halve the commission in two each time, we go with the latest referral.

Can someone tell them to sort their tracking out, if my sale was deleted because of a last referral then that is rubbish. Also they should put a reason for not accepting a sale, that way we can see if it's worth promoting them and not another company.
These DVD companies, both rental and sales, seem a little above their station. But then maybe I sound that way in making that comment but I don't think so. They mention a confirmation page, so why isn't the cookie on there instead?
