TD - Text links from multiple sites

Hi,

Sorry if this has been covered... and sorry if I'm missing something...!

If I take a text link for a merchant - e.g:

http://clkuk.tradedoubler.com/click?...&a=XXXX&g=XXXX

Then use that text link:

1 - behind multi links on multi sites
2 - behind multiple URLs (forwarding)
3 - behind links in newsletters
4 - behind destination URL on PPC

etc

Will my commission still register....?

Because TD - State:

"""If you are using a redirecting URL, or if you have multiple sites or mirror sites on separate domains, make sure you have included all of the domains in your TradeDoubler account. The system is set up to recognise only traffic referred from those sites that you have registered"""

And I can't see why multisites and URLs would be different to a PPC destination page...?? I have tested and seems to work..errrr confused...

Again sorry if I'm being think here..

Hi Ben

Yes they will track sales and leads OK, but for programs with 'Pay per Click' they will not register the click value, unless they come from the domain that is registered in the Site Info section.

If you use alot of PPC, for eg, and are having problems with the amount of errors in your 'error report' give TD a mail and let them know what you are doing and why you are receiving these errors and they can sort you out.
