    Hi,

Are we the only ones to notice that you can give TD x thousand impressions day in and day out yet the sales figures are either very low or very slow to update? of course we get some bumper sales days but that's with the same level of impressions and clicks as a bad day.

We've mentioned it to them in the past and they say everything is ok. I'm not convinced.

Anyone agree or am I being overly paranoid?

    Cheers

you start off mentioning impressions then move onto clicks. if clicks are steady and high then why not switch jamster over to zanox and see how that performs over there, big difference the ntake it up with TD again.

impressions are just the banner / image being loaded

imps and clicks are both pretty stable, it's just the sales that vary. we use both trade doubler and zanox for the jamster stuff

Had a spurt to 3X normal clicks biggest ever - thought my problems were over- and proportionately more sales for 2 days at beginning of week - don't know why - same rankings on search engines !

    Then went back to usual

Perhaps its the general election effect on traffic ..

    Not all clicks are equal.

UV is the thing to watch.
A human might click through several times but they're still only one person.

Sometimes click to sale data can look like the profile of a mountain range. I know it gets annoying and seems utterly unfathomable on occassions.
Even partners delivering thousands of daily clicks see fluctuations in their effectiveness.
It would be great if you could just plug the traffic into a formula and get the results out of the other side. Unfortunately it is never like this.

As far as I am concerned, a big factor is the relevancy of the traffic. Many visitors click, with little intent to purchase.
Our partners with the highest conversion rates are picking up highly interested and targeted traffic with a probable intent to purchase. They are using relevant content, combinations of text links, effective deeplinking etc.

For Jamster I can certainly advise what is working best in terms of creatives and content. Drop me a line if I can help in any way.

Thankyou for your response - always good to hear from good merchants like yourself . I see your point and agree it's just the time and effort already put into the site should really being paying dividends - and it does sometimes seem to be almost worthwhile as a part time income at times , but not yesterday and not today so far - when it doesn't peak into profit i prefer to do the gardening - it's more enjoyable - and helps keep blood pressure down a bit ! - so for today i will carry on with filling the skip - back breaking work but long overdue - have let the garden turn into a jungle recently !

    Hi Matt,

Can you reveal when the new Axel F adverts are going to bombard the tv and mags.

I'm sure I'm not alone in my antisapation of the new wave of interest in the Crazy Frog and hopefully the surge of sales that follow. Fingers X'ed.

    Hi Mike,

This baby is going to be huge.

I will be making a full partner update shortly with additional info about this.
Anyone who was around during the Crazy Frog 1 frenzy will certainly be anticipating big things yet again.

    Back to the topic?

You're kidding right? TD's UV counter doesn't work! For example BalticPine last month:

    Impressions: 199,036
    Clicks: 0
    UV: 2
    Leads: 51
    Conversion Rate: 0.00%

Anyone see anything strange here? This is the same for 90%-95% of the stats I see, the majority don't show any clicks and the UV numbers never match the leads/sales that result. In this situation I can't see how you can compare your stats to another network as I've never met another network that has such bad stats.

Hmmm now that sounds very broken.
Have you bought this to TD's attention?

    My stats are broken too.

    This month I`ve got 5 445 uv`s but only 317 clicks.

Have you bought this to TD's attention?
    Yes.
