LoveFilm are canceling leads....

...from almost 3 months ago! I'd love to know why it takes them and ScreenSelect so long to cancel dud leads, the LoveFilm invoice was already over due at TD before they canceled the lead!!

Sorry to reopen an old thread, but thought this was worth pointing out that once again Lovefilm have cancelled a lead that was actually overdue for payment.

Transaction date: 17/11/05
Invoice due date: 19/01/06
Date reveresed: 24/11/06

I know it's only 1 reversal so not that concerned, however it just feels wrong that they can do this after they were supposed to have paid TD.

Yes, there was some compensation added to my account on 24/11/05 for the 29/10/05 to 07/11/05 tracking problems.

I also remember getting compensation for previous tracking problems but TD's interface makes it very hard to find the details.

Same here Simon. I've just checked and we're had 30 removed sales from November. These were only cancelled a few days ago. Totally out of order and as usual no explanation whatsoever

Same here, I sent an email to TradeDoubler after randomly having 9 leads cancelled in November. What's more frustrating is that no reason was given at all, which in my opinion is disgraceful.

Email was sent to TD on Tues, so I will be interested to see what response I get, although judging by past experience I'll be lucky to receive a reply!!

The thing is, if I hadn't of checked my reversals, I may not have noticed as no notification was given.

I wonder how many leads in November have now been cancelled for everyone else?

Perhaps someone from TD or LoveFilm would care to explain why this is, as I generate a fair few leads every month and considering that us affiliates are generating business for LoveFilm, this is a kick in the teeth.

I have had two commissions added to my balance from LoveFilm over the last month or two, will I only keep these if whoever signed up actually becomes a paying subscriber and doesn't cancel after the free trial?

I have the same problem. Theyve removed quite a few of mine when I thought they were going to be paid and already were in the "approved" list.

Waiting for replies. Nearly on the verge of removing lovefilm from our site.

Yup, me too. One canceled from 29/11. Sureley it doens't take 2 months to work out somebody has already subscribed.

As far as I can remeber, you get the payment if they sign up for the free trial and haven't already been a member of Lovefilm or any of their purchases (such as screen select).

btw, ScreenSelect is part of VideoIsland (not lovefilm). Sainsburys DVD Rental is part of Lovefilm but I don't know if they behave like this to because so far they've never paid an TD invoice
