I believe you will get paid them if you are eventually accepted for the program, if you are denied then any earnings are forefitted. Well thats how it used to be - it may have changed?
Matt is correct, if you are "under consideration" for a program you can generate commission as normal, but, if you are denied for this program you will lose the commission you have generated. Commission generated under consideration will not be paid out until you are accepted.
When this has happened, and our affiliates have got in touch, we always speak to the advertiser and request an exception asking you to be approved and the commission to be reinstated.
If you are under consideration for a program and you have been waiting for more than a couple of days please email the relevant Account Manager, include your siteID, and ask to be fast tracked.
hmmm seems a bit unfair really .. as long as the action's / sales aren't fraudulent then affs should get paid or this money even if then subsequently declined for the merchant, the cash should go somewhere other than TD's pocket or the merchants.
I know in the longterm there's no mileage in refusing genuine affiliates unless they aren't worthy but it's a bit on the low side, if the sales/actions are genuine as the merchant has had traffic, earned off it, TD have earned off that and then the merchant/TD says "Hmm site not worthy... sorry"
