  Asos.com commission downgrade

Hi,

After being with them for 3 years me think, I just discovered 3 of my sites, which generate sales for asos.com, have been downgraded to segment 1 (5% commission). Not good! Any one else having the same experience ?

Yep - same here - not happy at all at that...

No email notification - nothing - just cut the commission in half - cheeky buggers.

Added to that the product feed hasnt been updated in months - sad to see a once great scheme become not just an also ran but a non runner - to think when Jess was there we all voted her affiliate manager of the year (and well deserved it was too)

BTW just checked and I've still got them at 10% on POR - whats the betting they change that soon.....

Strange - my original application was made in October 2000! - and some websites have been downgraded to 5%

ASOS really are losing the plot if they think 5% is competitive... Might as well shut the program today and saveon the monthly charges too.

Poor Jess, all those years of hard work. Hopefully its just a glitch.

Same here and i'm not happy. When the feed was updated on a regular basis and Jess was in charge i was making a few hundred a month from asos...not much over the last couple of months and i get really good rankings on some of their brands.

Time to look for another programme........

I also feel really bad for Jess, she put in so much effort into the programme and made it what it was.

Anyone know if the POR datafeed is up to date ??

Carol

Hi Carol, sadly not yet, my understanding is that a new AM has started and this is one of the things that will be looked into shortly, so it should be updated on both TD and POR soon.

A few of your have been affected by the decrease in commission today, this was just an administrative error on my part. The commissions will return to 10% tomorrow and I will credit you the difference for what you make today. Sorry for the inconvenience.

Apparently its a mistake by TD they were trying to adjust one affiliate and adjusted everyone - I expect someone will post something more official later

Weird. Our sites are still 10% but in the TD interface it says the general segment is 10% so I don't see how they can even set 5% commission.

  Gavin Alexander

Hi everyone,

We here at Redhill Recruitment placed Gavin in his role at ASOS and I can guarantee that he's one of the good guys. I hope everyone is patient with him to start with but I can assure you he is not going to ruin all the good work that Jess has done.

If anyone else needs any help with this sort of thing, please get in touch.

Cheers,

Matt
