Tradedoubler Stats....

Once more the stats system is completely behind. And we are assured by TD that this doesnt effect the actual affiliate clickthroughs and sales tracking. In which case, is it just me that seems to see a decline in UV's/Clickthroughs and sales during this time.

I'm just not convinced that it is all okay.

Take today for example, it looks like the stats are about 8 hours behind which means that the the stats are as they should be around 10:30. Currently I have 33 UV's on the lycos search when usually when I check between 8am and 9am in the morning I have between 40 and 50?

Today my Google adsense is performing better than usual but generally not fluctuating that much, so is this just me? Am I imagining it? I suspect I will see lower takings today than this time last week for example, but if you ask tradedoubler about this, they say it will catch up and every click is tracked.

This is just a little rant, and I hope I am wrong, but this does seem to be my trend, and May has been terrible for tradedoubler affiiates, the problems with stats not updating, jamster problems and commision errors, not to mention the new site calamity (which hopefully is sorting itself out now) I am starting to get a little pee'd off.

Why the hell TD cannot put something on thier website when theres a problem like this (or anything else) I havent a clue.

Essentially Tradedoubler also make money when we are making money - I doubt that many commissions are ever lost due to the neglegence of Tradedoubler themselves.

One of the reasons why they have such a solid tracking service is that it is not directly connected in realtime to the user interface and 'only does what is says on the tin' waiting for quite times to update the user stats.

I know its a pain but I find it far easier to look at yesterdays stats once they are all in and compare them to my logs.

Yes but slowwer to react to a drop in sales. Take problems recently, google engine change, sites down, change of landing page on one program, stats delay, now what the hell saw me get the lowest revenue on that day/s? Too many things changing and it's taking too long to notice why because of TD.

By tomorrow night I should be able to decide what to drop, whereas with up to date stats, I could do it now. I could be having a blinding day or a terrible one, even though the keywords I know that deliver traffic aint seeing the sales they should because of one of the four reasons above.

Although I have sales in for this month, no stats have updated, they been there since at least 6pm.

Well you say that.... But yesterday there was around 100 UV's (20%) less than in the last 7 days on my lycos search affiliate. Also, where I normally get 10+ Jamster clicks, yesterday it was just 1.

Like I said, I'm not convinced (My Google Adsense was on a par as usual)
