It's obviously best to check with TD but i believe this will result in all the "non accepted" site links producing traffic errors.

There's this in the TD info center:

I have traffic errors, how can I fix this?
Traffic errors generate for the following reasons:
You have not placed the banner/link on your registered sites URL.
If you have multiple sites, please ensure that the advertisers tracking code corresponds to your site that has created the relationship. You need to be accepted or under consideration with the correct Site ID (a=xxxxxxx).

The links will obviously work but whether or not commissions are honoured is another thing. Wouldn't run the risk IMO, better to sign up again or talk to an account manager to see if there's an easier way to sign up to multiple accounts again without multiple approval delays.

You can declare multiple sites in TD so it shouldn't be a problem. It doesn't take much longer to set up and then all you have to do is make sure that you have selected the right site before you generate your links. The only hassle might be navigating TDs new site makeover!

you could go into your sit details thing for the site thats accepted and in the 'site' bit add the other site to it.

so you'd have http://www.currently_accepted_site.com,http://www.news_site.com

that'd get rid of any traffic errors

always best to apply to each by setting up a new site though, you get better reporting that way as well, as in its easier to see what each site is making

Hi mark-connect,

morleymouse is correct, you can register multiple URLs against one "SiteID" with TradeDoubler.

To register multiple URLs you need to login to TradeDoubler:

SETTINGS >> Site information >> [Click on Site] >> [Edit]

Then in the "Site Address" field enter your URLs in the following format:

http://www.site1.com,http://www.site.../www.site3.com

The format between each URL is "comma, and no space". You can register up to 256 characters in the "Site Address" field, so there is plenty of room for multiple URLs.

If you register multiple URLs for a site you can then place TradeDoubler banner and links on all URLs registered against that site. This naturally makes it very straightforward to populate inventory on multiple website which you manage.

The disadvantage is you will not get separate reporting for each URL as they will all be reporting back statistics with the same siteID, you can use EPI to differentiate between your URLs but in practice affiliates are just happy to have the flexibility this method affords.

Many thanks,

Nick

p.s. thank for posting the additional info morleymouse and Paul!

Cheers for that TradeDoubler. That's just saved me time applying to merchants for my .co.uk when they're already signed up for the .com
