"Average paid EPC" - what does it mean?

I presume the 'Avg paid EPC' refers to the EPC only of people who have earnt something with a merchant? If so, it's a different metric to that utilised by other networks who base the EPC on the results of all affiliates.

Ne'er mind what is it, why so many zeros?

It has worried me that programs have 0.00 for this and the other earning stats.

There is a post from TD about it in this thread. I can't see that the stats are that useful as they do seem to suffer from TD not counting all clicks to a program (epc is sometimes larger that a 100% convertion rate could achive) and as, TD say as their first point, 'They are calculated from the basis of the entire network and should not be taken literally for a specific publisher.' - were these measures specifically chosen so we couldn't compare across networks?

Hi all,

the Average Paid EPC is the average earnings per 100 clicks for all affiliates only on the amounts paid out by that advertiser, for those affiliates.

Rich is right, some of the EPCs do not add up (traffic errors record commission but not UVs, for example), but we expect the quirks to iron out over the next 3-6 months.

Hope this helps,

Nick

  Wow, JPJ has the highest!

Hi Nick,

Can you confirm whether or not Jackpotjoy had the highest Average EPC last month?

Cheers

Chris
