I've just spotted one problem with the feed. In the CSV feed extra columns are listed as a semicolon separted list of colon separated property:value pairs e.g.
colour: Black,Wonder Blue; largeImageURL:
http://images.figleaves.com/uk/image...DY-431431.jpg; manufacturer: DKNY; size: Large,Medium,Small
This works well, but unfortunately breaks down for products by Rigby & Peller. The & is getting encoded twice, changing it to & e.g.
colour: Diamond (White),Pearl (White/Gold); largeImageURL:
http://images.figleaves.com/uk/image...AP-RP1275.jpg; manufacturer: Rigby & Peller; size: Large,Medium,Small,Xlarge,XSmall
The extra semicolon's make my script fail to separate these fields correctly, which would be easy to fix, but would still leave the brand displayed as Rigby & Peller. As &'s elsewhere in the file (product names and descriptons) aren't encoded, I don't think the should be in these extra fields, and definately shouldn't be encoded twice.
Same applies for other names with & in them (e.g Zack & Zula, D&G, Dolce & Gabbana Beachwear, etc) and a similar issue with names with an ' in them (e.g. B'Ware by Ballet changed to B'Ware by Ballet)
I hope this is of some use and expect its an error at
TD that hopefully they will be able to fix quickly.
