am sure you are aware that British Gas has recently increased its prices (gas and electricity by 14.2 percent).
These increases took place on the 19th September, and an increase in sales activity can be expected across the utilities sector as consumers migrate away from BG in search of a cheaper supplier.
A new ‘Switch to Powergen and save up to £104*’ sales message has been signed off from Powergen, which relates to the
EnergySavingPlan (ESP) product.
They also have a range of other products –
Capped Gas and Electricity until January 2008 as well as their
EnergyOnline product
Powergen has updated the ESP page to make it even more sales orientated and increase conversion along with ESP promotion to sit on the home page for next week
The Powergen Program has already seen an increase in conversions, and new ‘Switch to Powergen and save up to £104’ creative has been made available on the TradeDoubler system for your use.
Due to the BG price rise the 19th of September and proceeding months will be one of those boom times for the Powergen program so make sure you have your creative up, live and in a prominent position to make the most of the situation while it lasts.
