Dear Jamster Partners,

Some of the most important and potentially exciting changes in Jamster history will be taking place very shortly. THIS WILL AFFECT YOU!

Please read the following announcement, particularly the highlighted areas, carefully. The changes will affect all Jamster US and UK affiliate activity.

The Jamster US and UK sites will be re-launching with a new look, new branding and a new value proposition for our customers.

The new US site will go live on Monday 21st November. The UK shortly after.

In the past, Jamster has provided a "free ringtone" promotion for first time users who register on the Jamster site.

**Please note that Jamster is discontinuing this offer as of Monday, November 21, 2005. No further requests for free ringtones will be honoured or authorized after this date. Please ensure that your website and any marketing materials you employ do not offer a free ringtone after November 21, 2005.**

That will help not having to go through all the pages removing the script. Perhaps change it to details of one of your new packages or something similar?

5 days later and still no change to creatives or white label?, any news Matt, we really could do with the new creatives to advertise the new value clubs more effectivly.

£5 a month seems much better, i may even join myself :-)

A while back I received an email stating I could be sued if I didn't take down references to the free ringtone. So which of us gets sued if the creative you have given me still states 'free ringtone'

Please change 008 Top 6 Ringtones Free 400x400 which I notified you about over a month ago. I've also sent you a request, again, to be put back on the top downloads list and also a query as to how the program is running on the whole.

Please confirm 008 Top 6 Ringtones Free 400x400 still works and the landing page still tracks, the code appears to show in the URL. I've only scanned for the word free but your terms don't mention the word, however on the landing page it has "Free ringtone or wallpaper!"

And if you're now offering a free ringtone, please do feel free to email and let us all know so we can put free ringtone back on our sites and tell us how the free ringtone or wallpaper offer actually works.

I have to say, I am really disappointed with Jamster. Since Matt has moved to looking after the US I have had no communication or contact of any kind from the new UK manager. This is despite me being one of the top performing white label sites in the UK.

Then a few months ago Matt asked me if I'd like to get involved with the US market. I said yes and even registered a new domain name for the project. Matt then set up some conference calls with Zanox as they were going to be my merchant of choice. These went well, and I attended over 2 hours worth of online presentations.

Then nothing.

Not a bean, my emails to Matt have gone unanswered and nothing has been taken forward.

Needless to say my respect for Jamster has completely gone and I won't be promoting then in any capacity again.

my story mirrors yours exactly kieron. we were all set for the big US push but then nothing. both disappointing and annoying.

Well, you got further than me Kieron, i didnt even get a reply when i emailed him about needing help on selling in the US.

Nowadays i email the key affiliate manager, and i have to say he has helped me no end... although i dont like to pester him too often as he may get fed up with my constant nagging

I'm glad I'm not the only one, at a time when the whole world was against Jamster you'd think as an affiliate that had put time and money into their effort, that they'd keep the flags flying but it all went dead. I thought it was just me being left out, obviously not. After Matt left it all went downhill.

As an affiliate you're supposed to find motivation for yourself but when the merchant isn't enthusiastic anymore, you do wonder if the program died overnight.

TD looks like it now tracks the majority of countries through one geo targetted link but a definate that this is now working 100% would be great also. That way I can start narrowing the clicks people from Canada to China to Morocco have to click to get somewhere.

Have to agree with what everyone else has said - Jamster is now pants as a programme - used to be one of my top earners - now it doesnt make enough to put a pint of milk in the fridge every day.

Jeez the moaning..Jamster is dodgy always was... some guys think they were ok cos they made money thru them?
PLEASE TAKE DOWN ALL LINKS FREE JAMSTER RINGTONE..cos it could be illegal...err nope i can't be arsed, you guys said it is now illegal, you guys can now remove my landing page..simple.
Sort it out yourself, I think i mentioned 6-months ago jamster were in bother, encouaging cretins to register jamster type keyword domains
