Does anyone know how Europcar define a lead? The info on tradedoubler says:

I have contacted tradedoubler support but have had mixed messages about this. First I was told it was per user registration and then I was told it was per reservation.
"We are now offering affiliates the opportunity to earn £0.30 for every visitor they send to our site that subsequently goes on to make a reservation request."
And one day Europcar will pay realistic commissions - 30p is taking the proverbial when using carrentals.co.uk for example you can earn £30 quite easily.

I have agree with kbudden on this. Nick, could you contact Europcar and see if they could review their commission structure? They have a good brand but at 30p per res its just not worth promoting. They are paying the lowest commissions in the car rental industry by far.
I just wrote a nice little piece on Europcar, as I was impressed by how user-friendly their website is. However, upon noticing their paltry commission rates, I'm afraid I won't be able to give them any website inches. With carrentals offering 25% at the moment, it just won't do. Chalk up another one for reviewing their payment structure!
Perhaps someone at Tradedoubler could point Europcar at this thread... There are a number of affiliates willing to drive traffic to Europcar once they bring their commission in line with the other car rental companies.
Sadly I know that TD have highlighted the failings of their commission structure to Europcar more than once in the last year (and I have bent Europcar's ear on a couple of occassions) but they are sufficiently arrogant to consider that people will continue to promote their brand anyway...
