  Exclamation £5 Reward for a £1,113 sale!!

How about that??

I just sold an ebookers package deal £1,113 and my reward is £5.

Can anyone calculate that as a percentage? Isn´t it about 0.5% ??

Who can I swap to so that I can earn a better rate?

Thanks,

Jon

Hi speeddate,

that's a bit unlucky - on the flipside though you can earn £5 on a £50 sale at ebookers. Expedia will pay you commission on a percentage of sales value:

Flight sale 1.00%
Hotel sale 5.00%
Car sale 5.00%
Package sale 2.00%

So, I wouldn't drop ebookers from your site but instead use the program to it's strength for you which is on the lower value sales. Perhaps on each of your pages you could vary the message for each advertiser:

"For great savings on high cost flights, go to expedia"

"For the best deals on low cost flights, go to ebookers"

Just an idea,

Kind regards,

Nick

  Thumbs up Commision

Warner holidays, www.warnerholidaysonline.com and Siblu, www.siblu.com, both give 5% commision, not bad when you look at the price of the breaks.
And they both offer £100 bonus for every 20 sales, and £200 for every 50!

Mmm, not good. not the same company, but today i also sold a holiday for nearly £1000, and only got £5. With over 60 companies listed, not sure if to remove it or not.

A company that offers good commission thats not been mentioned is keycamp at awin. ive only done one with them, but £42 comms for a £700 holiday. thats more like it. they got some good promotions too, so easy to mention them. they do euro mobile homes and camping stuff.

Yeah thats true but sometimes you should look past the commision percentage.... I remember reading this thread:

http://www.a4uforum.co.uk/showthread.php?t=29732
Lets hope for the affiliates sake this has improved and doesn't happen again...

I know Siblu and Warner validate their sales at least htree times a week, and are very keen on pleasing their affiliates and offer regular bonuses.

Something to consider

Have you contacted the aff manager?

Hi Speeddate...

Have you contacted the Aff manager and pointed out to them how they would benefit by increasing your commission percentage?

If you are regularly sending them £1k plus customers, then they won't want to lose you...Or for you to swap your links over to one of their competitors (heaven forbid).

Good luck with it...

Cheers

Chris
