and... still no response from PC World
lol!
I think PCWorld have a big problem to the fact that a lot of us have bought our own stuff and it has been reversed. This really will make a big stink if it is not handled correctly!
Its going to be interesting to follow!

I'm guessing they have an Affiliate manager who is arguing the case for affiliates and a "Store Director" arguing for the store staff - and the poor chairman hasn't got the b*lls to say "OK, we f***ed (fouled)-up. Pay both this time and let's fix the problem for next time."
That would be the right thing to do.
But you know how "everybody gets promoted until they reach a level at which they are incompetent."![]()
Hi all,
we have seen PC Worlds response and it's positive, we are just waiting for final confirmation on a figure.
Thanks
Nick
Dear Affiliates,
First of all let us start with our sincerest apology for the confusion over the recent December order cancellations.
The good news is that we have looked into our system and have found a reason as to why so many Collect@Store orders have been cancelled; we are now in the process of reinstating about 60% of these orders.
During the last 5 days, we have collected November and December sales data and have identified a very small number of Collect@Store orders which were not registered as “collected” in the system due to in-store human error. To compensate for these human errors which will be difficult to eradicate completely, due to the human element, we will be increasing the commission on the Collect @ Store event so our affiliate partners will not lose any revenue going forward. Ultimately, we are trying our best to accommodate our customers who want to collect orders in store and also ensure we attribute as much revenue as possible to our affiliates who have been instrumental for PC World.
Please watch this space for the new PC World commission structure which we will announce very shortly, once our full analysis is complete!
Additionally as a result of this issue we have instructed a nationwide in-store training initiative to ensure the Collect@Store in-store process is correctly implemented. Apologies again for any inconvenience and thank you to everyone who wrote in supplying examples as this greatly assisted in identifying the underlying issue.
Many thanks for your continued support. If you have any questions or comments please contact our TradeDoubler Account Manager: heidi.edmunds@tradedoubler.com
Kind regards,
The PC World Affiliate Team

Laughable, although good to see in some way its getting sorted but to what level, only time will tell.To compensate for these human errors which will be difficult to eradicate completely,
Something doesn't add up here.Originally Posted by Bod
Not necessarily - a failure rate of 30-40% on collect@store seems pretty believable to me - any scheme like that which does not require people to pay up front will always have a high number of 'no shows' - people who order product and for whatever reason never turn up at the designated store to collect it.Originally Posted by km8
Never argue with idiots. They just drag you down to their level and then beat you with their experience.
If ignorance is bliss then some of the people I know must be orgasmic.
It's encouraging to see things are moving along.
I sincerely hope the problems can be resolved because it's a great idea and, in contrast to the Argos program, much fairer to affiliates.

When will these be sorted, is there any time limit or any idea
Hi all,
the PC World sales were re-reversed earlier today and you will now see the actual commission you generated over November and December.
If you have any queries, please contact heidi.edmunds@tradedoubler.com
Many thanks,
Nick
If you say sothe PC World sales were re-reversed earlier today and you will now see the actual commission you generated over November and December![]()
Total amount of reversed sales according to TD "event breakdown report" £154,579.18 - Mostly PC World
Every time that I look the reversals have gone up and the sales have gone down....I'm gonna stop looking![]()
Has anyone had their reversals reversed ??
I had 100% of reversals given back to me, that said there was only 1 sale.![]()
Not much has changed here. I've still got a lot of reversals for December.Originally Posted by Ross

No change to my December reversals either. Did anyone else manage to get any of these December sales reinstated?
