I have had the same experience with a member of my site who insists he has the goods and is happily using them. He did state that the whole collect@store experience bordered on comical imcompetence however, with staff seemingly unsure how to cope or react with any sense of urgency of customer satisfaction in mind!

Just received a massive shock on the reversal rate for PC World for December.
About a 65% Reversal Rate... Absolutely livid & will be requesting proof for each and every single one !!!
Networks really need additional columns to "standard" overview reports showing reversed commissions total & as a %. On a whole even though some networks do give these figures in seperate reports. It should been shown alongside sales rather than rooting for it so that it is easier to compare. November was only about 2%. There is something certainly not right here. Also noticed with DSG Group that they have more reversals than other programs in the event breakdown report though they might scrape through accepted tolerance levels.
P.S. Just seen the thread on

Just checked my PC World stats, exactly the same problem - over £100,000 of sales reversed. Looking down the list, the vast majority seem to be labelled "PC World Collect & Store" in the "Event" field.
This can't be right

Same here. I just check my stats for December and nearly all the sales removed were collect & store.

sorry but was you still promoting them even after they said 50% of our customers check us out online 1st before coming into the store
which seems to have been dropped from their tv adverts now

Me too, my removed transactions for december are massive for PC World and they are all collect at store transactions.
They are closely followed by reversed transactions for Currys and Dixons.

Just checked and it looks like I've had over 60% of sales removed too. This means in december I got an EPC of 0.8p
I'd be interested to hear the explanation too

Not sure how the prog works but do they pay on line or is it reserve online and then pay in store?
It could be that the sale is not being processed correctly at the POS in store.
Just my thoughts on this cold, wet Monday morning.

Not talking about the affiliate programme, but when I used this service, it was reserve online with a few very basic details, the item is then held in store for a short period (a day?) and you pay on collection. It would be easy for a customer to chnge their mind, or to get there, realise the item is on the shelf and just pick one up without getting the "reserved" one. When I used it, I found it very useful, and managed to reserve the last one in the store.

Ive got some interesting information to add to this one.
I don't really promote PCworld as such but I did put one sale through for my partners printer. It was reserved online and collect at store. Having looked it was on reports a few weeks ago but has now dissappeared. I think that DSG are fleecing you guys in all honesty. I am sure I read that they were paying out on collect at store.
Bit of a scam. Luckily for me I dont really use them and im only losing out on a few quid.
Certainly won't be promoting them though.
I thought with my case being so simplistic it would shed a bit of light on the topic for you guys.James Zielinski,

Actually upon further investigation I forgot over christmas I had a fair few big sales on one of my christmas sites as I had given them a whirl. Forgot sorry.
But looking into it 100% removed! At least I know for certain one I have been shafted on...
Not good news at all and not a happy bunny now! Great start to Monday
They are all highlighted "PC World Collect & Store". Are we missing something here apart from our commissions?James Zielinski,

Aty the beginning of December I bought using my own PC World link and collect @ store some cables. Got to the store, there labelled up for me and ready to take from customer services was my item. This tracked ok.
I week later I did the same and purchased a scanner, collect @ store again although this time form a different store. got to the store and was told where they were in the shop and just go and pick one up, it was not waiting for me. Picked it up paid. This item did not track at all.
The strange thing about this..... When I went to the scanner section in the shop there was only one Epson scanner, picked it up went home. Now seeing this scanner reviewed in mags I see it listed at £199 i paid 60. I had in fact the wrong scanner.... but a much better one. lol_________________________________________

Hi all,
I think we both know how much PC World has developed as a program in recent months, especially so with the implementation of the collect at store event for affiliates. This reversal issue is being addressed properly so please stay calm
, put it to one side for now and am sure you will all see a satisfactory conclusion.
Having spoken with Heidi Edmunds who is the PC World account manager this morning, the issue was flagged to TradeDoubler by PC World on Friday afternoon with the cause of some reversals put down to in store human administration errors created by the new collect at store process.
As monk-i stated, he purchased a product through collect at store for a friend which was subsequently reversed. If human error is responsible for the reversals then it's possible order reconcililation will need to be done again - watch this space and the program emails from PC World.
Many thanks,
Nick
