Exclamation TradeDoubler Payment - Now on the 20th

Hi all,

I am pleased to inform you your payment has now been moved back to it's normal date which is Monday the 20th March.

This will ensure we have more time to chase up any remaining outstanding invoices from our advertisers.

Many thanks,

Nick

DARN - there goes the happy feeling I always get when I see the next payment date is always today's date.

That's a bug that slipped through the latest upgrade.

Its good that is back to the 20th but doesn't help when the payment day moves especially when I had £0.00 last month as people didn't have enough time to pay.

I'll use the overdraft for another week.....

Nick, will the date stay around the 20th in future months?

Hi all,

Future payments are planned for the following days:
  • 17/04
  • 15/05
  • 19/06
However, they may change. If they do, we will try to give you as much notice as possible.

Thanks
Andy

Nick,

I might be simple, but why do payment dates change?

Hi all,

I don't have an exact reason why we changed the publisher payment date - I know it is tied closely to reducing the publisher payment threshold from £30 to £20 which we do each year in February.

Typically TradeDoubler pay our publishers on the 3rd Monday of each month so around the 20th is what you can expect.

I did suggest we move the date back another week, if it meant we had more time to chase outstanding invoices, therefore we could pay out more to our publishers for that month. However our Accounts Receivable department confirmed that 99.99% of all invoices that can be chased and paid are done so before the last week of the month so there would actually be no benefit.

A quick note to all our advertisers - please do prioritise our invoices with your Accounts Payable department, it makes a big difference to the confidence and trust in your program and is really one of the easiest ways to optimise the performance without increasing base costs.

Many thanks

Nick

Is this a joke? Why **** us around like this?

Edit: I was pleased to tell your lot that February's payment was wrong and was pleased to inform your lot that March's payment was wrong but was told that was the date. Now one day before invoices fall, you put it back a week. Nice, very smooth.
