Arrow Dial-a-Phone: HOW TO INCREASE YOUR CONVERSIONS!

IMPORTANT INFORMATION RE: TRACKING

You must use graphics and text links that are within the Tradedoubler interface, it is in your best interests to do so...

Links set up in the interface send the customer to the designated redirect on dialaphone via a cookie dropper page. It is this that then recognises your lead if they return at a later date to dialaphone.co.uk directly or via our sponsored PPC on search (within the 60 day cookie period).

The designated affiliate landing pages have been specially designed for the programme so that they contain NO telephone numbers and no links to any of our other products. This ensures 0 leakage.

To check this is correct you should see that the graphical elements send you to one of three redirects (obviously these are home pages but you will still see the /td1, /td2 or /td3 element in deep links)

Michelle, to really grow your program it is my belief that you need to allow affiliates to use creatives of their own choice too.

For example, we all know that standard banners stuck anywhere on a site aren't necessarily the best way to promote a merchant, right?

Successful affiliates tend to use text links, comparison sites, offer sites etc to promote mobiles. For example, I tend to promote "special offers" so I will promote a specific Dial-a-Phone offer and not a phone, if you see what I mean.

So in my case I have used some of the graphics from your homepage as there is nothing suitable in the TD interface. I don't want generic banners and I don't want text links to specific phones.

Surely you should be encouraging affiliates to think outside the box? By restricting them to your text links and banners you will lose out on sales.

Cheers!

Totally agree. Most of my traffic goes through my price comparison sites and if I wanted to create any other type of link I would prefer to design my own.

Correct i believe having textual banners and links will allow more coverage on affiliate companies... Tradedoubler allows you to make your own template and frame setup.

Hi,

We obviously want you guys to achieve as much volume as possible, although we must have certain controls in place.

Any individually designed banners need to be approved by Dial-a-Phone as we are FSA regulated, and stick to strict ASA Ad guidelines also.

There is a full product feed available for any affiliates to use, that they can build into the structure of their site so that customers can search for specific deals/handsets. I appreciate that this is complex for most, and am in the process of building a smaller "content unit" which will feature a selection of the best deals for you guys to integrate.

The feed/content unit will be completely up to date, as they refresh every time we publish new deals onto the site.

There is also now a "deal of the week" text link that will always go to one of our top deals. You will shortly also have "Web specials" creative. These deals are only available online.

Kind rgds
