New Product Feed Export

Hi all,

I am excited to announce that we just launched our new TradeDoubler Product Feed Export System for publishers.

The new feed export allows publishers to customise virtually every part of the feed to build up a feed export to your exact specifications before you download it.

Here is a quick overview of benefits:

• You can choose whether the feeds should be downloaded individually or concatenated into one large feed file
• You can select which categories to include in the download based on the feeds selected
• You can choose which fields to include, rearrange the order of the fields and even rename the fields
• You can save your own format for future downloads and specify the format and encoding (XML, CSV, zip, gzip etc.)

The feed export will also provide the ability to create targeted feeds reducing unnecessary data being downloaded and processed. You can do this by selecting only the categories you want to include in the feed and excluding the fields that you will not be using. This will result in reduced amount of unused data being downloaded, faster downloads and less time spent importing products that will not be used or removing/excluding unwanted products.

We are really excited about these changes and improvements. We have taken your feedback and put together a system that hopefully ticks all the boxes :-)

We just implemented support for the old interface. How long will that still be around ?

Hi Gene,

The old export will remain there indefinitely for now. When the time is right we will remove it from the interface but we will make sure we give everyone plenty of notice.

As you have just started using this, I recommend you start using the new system before you become reliant on the old one. Changing now will be easier than changing at a later stage.
