I am delighted to announce that we have just launched td AdMatch.

td AdMatch is a market-leading contextual advertising solution
that maximises the performance of publisher inventory.

td AdMatch scans the content of web pages and facilitates the placement of ads
alongside relevant website content. This improves the relevancy of advertising on
publisher websites, helping to drive up conversion rates and ultimately increase

We have created three AdMatch types; Text ads, Product ads and Image ads.

Great idea, look good. We've slotted replaced a site wide 200x200 with it to see how it goes.

One thing, Littlewoods Direct is rotating around and they closed 13/01/08!

Wow!!! i love it!!

It's easy to implement and I am amazed at how much time this has saved me with quick roll-out of already-applied-for ads.

Also, the unbranded look is another great idea. The only thing to point out to other publishers is that you should not match the style of any Google Adsense ads in the TD AdMatch unit, Google don't like that!

How do we get on with members/password protected sections?

uklejon: AdMatch works fine with password protected pages. AdMatch scans the pages with every impression, so when your page loads it will read the content and display the most relevant ads. It works different to most contextual products as they cache the page and do not update with every impression (causing a problem with password protected pages)

Kungfumobiles: We will be making another development release next week. This will enable publishers to end programs so that they are not included if you do not want them to be.

After a few days of playing with the AdMatch on the UK Tradedoubler, and getting it to work like a charm, I must add, I decided to give the German one a bash. My TD account is able to use the UK and German ad pools. Unfortunately it did not work for me or my visitors, all ads included a page not found error in the ad-shaped iframe. This is true for the contextual ads, product ads and image ads for AdMatch.

Anyone else have the same problems? Is this only a problem with the German system? Could it be a problem with an alternate language is use? (Meaning, I have a bizzare mix of German language and English language in the TD system when I select Germany from the drop-down list for country selection in my account).

For now I have suspended the German ads in my geotargeted ad rotator and replaced them with alternate ads for my German visitors.

I ve sent a few emails already to TD support but as usual, it seems it will go quicker if I post here.

It is not major but would like answer.

Is there a limit to the number of "boxes" we can implement please ?

Google limit to 3 per categories (search, adsense, ref...)

I ve tried to put 15 TD admatch banners... (I know...but I am testing... alright)...and I have only 12 showing.

So, what is the maximum number of banners we can show please ?

I wanted to let you all know that as promised in one of my earlier posts, today we launched a new functionality that allows publishers to end themselves on programs.

This means you can optmise AdMatch further if you are using a site ID with relationships that you no longer use. You can disconnect and reconnect to a program on the apply page.
