There are three possible reasons why commission may have been removed from your account - reversed transactions (the most common reason), a denied relationship or a digital wallet created by the advertiser.
Reversed transactions
These can take place for the following reasons:
• The credit card used to make the purchase was fraudulent.
• The credit card used was rejected by the bank.
• The order placed was subsequently cancelled.
• The goods were returned under warranty.
Leads might be reversed for the following:
• Leads can be removed if the user supplied false contact details.
• Leads will be removed if the user had already registered.
To view if a transaction has been reversed, please log in to your TradeDoubler account and run the Event Breakdown report to view the status of your transactions.
Denied Relationship
Whilst Under Consideration for a program, any commissions you generate are not guaranteed. If you are subsequently denied on a program, all commissions in that instance would be returned to the advertiser.
If you were an Accepted affiliate on a program and then had been denied by the advertiser, this too would be a reason. However, this would only occur if an affiliate had broken the T&C's of a program.
Digital Wallets
Digital wallets are normally used to award bonuses or monthly revenue shares. Occasionally, these can be used to make withdrawal for any multitude of reasons. To see digital wallets, log-in to your account and then click on the account balance figure on the top right hand of the screen. This will show any digital wallets, both positive or negative that may have been made. You can also see any digital wallets that were made many months ago in the Payment Report at the bottom of each payment invoice.
