Dear Affiliate,
The Tesco.com team at TradeDoubler want to take this opportunity to remind you that we will continue to work with Tesco.com on their affiliate programme.
If you are already working with us, firstly we would like to say thank you for your continued support and for working with us to achieve a strong YOY performance. We hope you continue to reap the rewards of working with us and look forward to hearing your ideas on making the programme even better.
If you are looking to join the Tesco.com programme on TradeDoubler, however, please ensure you:
a) register today on http://www.tradedoubler.com
b) sign up to the Tesco programme (ID 898)
c) and send an email to Publisher manager Henry at tescoaffiliates@googlemail.com with either your site ID or email address to get fast tracked onto the Tesco programme
Some of the great reasons to work with Tesco.com include:
• Commission – Partners benefit from a tiered commission structure and frequent incentives
• Multiple products – The Tesco programme spans 10 product categories all of which cross track including Grocery, Wine, Tesco Direct, Contact Lenses, Books, Entertainment, Jersey, Digital, DVD Rental and Diets
• Strong offers – Priding ourselves on staying one step ahead of the competition makes our offers very competitive and enables us to run these frequently
• Creative resources – Offers of the day banners, deep linking, feeds, contextual adverts are available as well as targeted banners for each product category
• Regular programme updates – The TradeDoubler account team are dedicated to communicating all of the upcoming onsite promotions and affiliate offers
If you would like to know more about our programme, please get in touch with either Henry or Jo at tescoaffiliates@googlemail.com .
And remember ‘every little helps’.

Any chance of improving the deeplinking facility?

That spreadsheet is jolly hardwork?

Hello Fizzbird,

Can you let me know if you still experiencing any trouble trying to link to a specific page?

The current spreadsheet has been designed to make it easy to pick up selected page links and give affiliates the option to customise deep links for specific pages also.

It's always good to get feedback on ways to improve the efficiencies of the programme - and as I'm sure you will appreciate this is something we will need to look into with the team at Tesco before announcing an alternative solution.

Do let me know if this is something you have not been able to resolve, so that I can assist you.

Many thanks
Jo

Thanks Jo
I'm managing OK - I just wondered why I can't use the deeplink tool instead.

The fact that I can get different URLs for the same product on different days, leaves me to wonder how precise the tracking will be in the long run?

Any chance Tesco could pay on time?

Every month Tesco shows as outstanding when it comes to PayDay. The latest one is;
Invoice: GB-08-04200
Due: 03/09/08
Owed: £1,717.75

Sadly as I have received payment from TD, this figure should have been in my account today, however due to late payment (and its still outstanding!) it wont be in my account until end of October at the very earliest!

Its great having tiered structures, up to date banners, incentives etc, but the simple things like paying on time, are what is most important to a lot of affiliates.

The way things are at the moment, an outstanding invoice to Tesco is better than money in the bank?

I wouldn't sweat - their good for it

Too True! Maybe payment in clubcard points is the way forward? :tup

It's just annoying when trying to control cash flow, especially after my account has been emptied by fraudsters whilst on holiday last week :td

I am awaiting a TradeDoubler response to a query I have regarding the Tesco datafeeds - any chance you can chase this up TD Jossi?

Sorry if I'm replying to an old thread but it seemed easier than creating a new one.

How do you link to page in Tesco Digital?

I would also like to agree with an earlier thread that the spreadsheet is hard work. Not sure I would use the word "jolly" though.

Tesco, if there is anything you must improve on, its your DEEPLINK, your style is outdated. You should provide links that could be created within seconds. You need to have a PHD in deeplinking before you can understand how TESCO deeplink works. I am doing great with every other Tesco products on other networks such as the Insurance BUT everytime i visit tradedoubler, i cant but cry. it wont cost you more that a couple of quids to get a proper deeplinking engine up but you dont know how much more its costing you with that stone age deeplinking format. Dont ask me to contact you because you cant keep sending me an email with deeplinks everyday. Fix it now.
