Thanks for your post Top banana, this information should be useful for everyone.

You will see the commission credited under the Digital Wallet 'deposits' column of the Program Overview report.

The commission amounts will be updating in the system today so if you run the report including the date of the 16th December this amount will be visible to you.

    Kind regards,
    Victoria

I've been away from the forum for a while, and I can't honestly understand why all these retailers are suddenly screamy "yikes, these discount codes are really popular!". At the end of the day, why offer them if they can't afford to offer them?

What a crazy thing to do!

P.S. Until I work out how to add my signature, this might work?

Purely speculative, but I wonder what will be the score with the program once the peak period of Valentines Day passses.

TBH Paul, with an EPC of 10p this month as opposed to the usual peak period 18 to 21p, I don't actually care any longer what happens to the programme.

This time last year my sales (not commissions) were almost double what I achieved this month... and I sent significantly more traffic this year. The drop is not entirely down to the commission / cookie reduction as 80% of my visitors usually converted within the 3 day period.

It's just gone, well... pants! Not sure if it is leakage to their 70% off site, the perpetual redesigns, or if the new regime at Figleaves is perhaps not capable of ensuring that tracking is 100%.

If someone from Profero could be assed to communicate with affiliates and earn whatever fee they are getting from programme management, it might shed some light on the issue.

This programme's days are numbered regardless of any decisions the merchant makes - cos they've let the whole thing go to the bloody dogs through a lack of understanding of the channel.

R.I.P Figleaves, died 2009 after a noble affiliate innings :td

Is the major leak of traffic like this one acceptable for affiliates? I don't think it is. What's the IAB doing about it?

Figleaves program closes 31st Jan anyway? Or is that just via Linkshare?

To be honest, that leakage source has been there for almost 6 months. I raised it with the Figleaves affiliate manager at the time, and he said he'd advised the management it was not going to be acceptable to affiliates. Despite more than one representation from him on the matter - it's still there... so I doubt the IAB can do a gosh darned thing about it.

At least some good things have come out of Figleaves like Graham, Hero, Helen & Bronwen. When the programs was the bees knees.
