Not aware of any but that doesn't mean they don't exist. I've always handcoded the coordinates. Not that much fun though.

That said, I think there's a website somewhere that converts bulk postcodes into coordinates for free. Can't remember the URL though - sorry.

    Hi!

When using our xml interface you get also lat/long for the hotels with it.. also availability searches with lat/long is possible.

    Just have a look at:

Pretty sure Active Hotels, Superbreak, Laterooms, Venere all include them. Not sure about the non-UK ones.

For UK / US postodes there's nearby.org.uk and for other countries you can use Geonames.

    Hi Coopson,

I manage the product feed system here at buy.at

We've just launched static feeds for both Expedia and Hotels.com - these feed both include the latitude/longitude data. We'll shortly be launching an web-services based API for Expedia to allow real-time search results.

We also offer long/latitude data on the following programmes:

    Coast & Country Hotels
    Laterooms
    Premier Inn

If you arent signed up to any of these programmes then you can apply via your management area. Alternatively if you arent signed up to buy.at then you can sign up via this link:

Affiliate Signup : buy.at Affiliate Network

Any questions, give me a shout

    Cheers

This won't be of help when you have hotels on the same street that have the same postcode. You'll just end up with multiple pointers one on top of the other when plotted on a map.

If these use the same lat & lon data that's in the IAN feed then the data's rubbish - example the data for some Park Lane hotels in London when plotted on a map show the hotel as being in the middle of Hyde Park. You're better off

Sorry to ressurect this thread but when you talking about latitude and longitude, are you meaning Google Map co-ordinates?
