hmm.. so the link value of a non-related website is probably not a lot, but if you're bulk hitting lots of non-related websites (hundreds) it could well add up to the relevancy score of a single relevant website.
I can understand that by posting in the travel section of an affiliate marketing forum could be seen as relevant but more than likely this post could be deleted as 'spam' - it is this type of crap link building that pisses me off most, not least of which because I'm subscribed to this forum I received an alert for what may have been a relevant post and instead its a load of junk. thanks.
You'd save yourself a lot of time and energy by researching related websites and forums and posting relevant discussions.
