So the good, ol' British Summer Time is finally here! Hurrah!
Has anyone else in the Travel sector noticed that their conversion rates have been affected by our new tropical climate?!

Hi Chris,
Actually you have two key factors, the weather and the World Cup. Happens every 4 years like clockwork! My advice would be to either concentrate post World Cup even into Summer 2007 which has picked up well in the last week or so. Alternatively go for those who either dont like footie or are happy to watch it on the TV cause mosts hotels will be showing the matches. Prices are keen at the moment and will stay so until England are knocked out - then watch the pattern shift!
Good luck, need any help from us at TC just let me know.

Thanks Angela..would be ok if we sold England Shirts!!
Yep here in the East too! Sun out no sales - Fottie in, especially when England plays, and we might as well all go to bed!! On the bright side, it helps improve our program as we have lots going on at the moment![]()

Yes, I would imagine the World Cup is just as much to blame as the weather, if not more. (See here.)
