Hi,

I've got a Travel related Domain which is getting a few uniques, so I want to develop it as travel site. I'm looking for pointers or advice about the best way to approach it.

I guess this is different to regular affiliate marketing because people want to see a big name at the top of the page.

A relevant site name, as short as possible

And to really help in getting the site near the top of Google - lots of unique content. Write your own text don’t use readily available text from your merchants

I guess it really depends on what kind of travel site you are looking for, but one thing which will really help you convert is a quick search on your index page, then sitewide. So probably the best bet for you is to get as many XML feeds or CSV data as possible and put it all in a searchable database.
