I would like to get away before then, however holiday is limited for me for the rest of the year in my day job. May figure something out though if needed as i missed the first set of incentive's offered.

9th Sep - Depart London Stansted, flying to Reus


9th - 11th Sep
President Hotel - Salou - 3 sun
Starting with 2 nights at the president, a 3 star offering, at the quieter end of Salou away from the fun pubs and clubs and the Brashness of Salou centre. Access to Quieter beaches, Marina and also Cambrils.


11th - 13th
Caribe Resort Hotel - 4 sun
This is my top hotel choice, a full resort hotel, and also next to PortAventura which is a must do in Salou. Not sure how this will fair as in my eyes if I cannot see the sea im not on holiday, and I know its a fair trek into Salou. IN saying that, this place should have it all and make it so you do not want to leave. This area is getting busier with many new hotels and apartments in the last 3 years.



13th - 16th Sep
Salou Pacific Aparthotel - Salou - 2 sun
Finishing off with 3 nights at a 2 star general budget apartment. a mid size complex with average facilities. Pool, some evening enterainment. Closer to Salou centre but in a dense apartment / hotel area. This area seems to have varied quality hotels of different ages.

16th Sep - Depart Reus returning to London Stansted

That was not as easy as I thought limited mix of hotel ratings in Salou...

Also..Chris can you check your Sun rating for Blaumar Salou? tis only 1 sun, thought the Bluamar was 4 star :blush

Are there no 5 star hotels in Salou or do we just not carry them yet?

If I win I'll change my a4u name to jetsetter... :tup (cannot remember the last time I had two holidays), Anyway the Majorca wold be chill out, Salou is work....welll nearly work.

As for the 5 star hotels, I do not think there are any, The Blaumar was my first 1 star budget choice until I looked into further haha!

Just to add that you don't need to have a functioning website yet to apply for the fam trip, all you need to do is create the actual fam trip that will help you build the website!

My choice would be Cape Verde .. still THE up and coming destination and although you have asked for a week there really is no point going there for less than 2 weeks and I would sell packages of 3 weeks to get the full experience..

Depart London Gatwick August 1st - Sal International

Oasis Novorizonte Resort Hotel 3 days
Sal is an activity beach with wind surfing, diving and small town to explore 3 days is good to acclimatise, relax and enjoy the beach activities.
Oasis is a higher end accomodation but after a longish flight I'd recommend comfort as essential to set you up for what is to come.

Depart Sal - San Vincente - August 4th
Residencial Beleza Hotel - 2 days
San vincente is the cultural capital, music, art, local food and getting to know the people and culture is best started here..
Beleza is rated 3* but is all that is required for your stay in San Vincente, gives you time to explore the island, book a car, no where is more than an hour away.

Depart San Vincente - Santo Antao - August 6th (by ferry)
Anyone the goes to Cape Verde should not miss Santio Antao it's mountains and greenery are a must for any walker, explorer or anyone looking to get a real feel for Cape Verde.
Stay at - Pedracin Village- 10 traditional stone-houses. Restaurant, high above the valley with wonderful mountain panorama. - 3 days.
You need to explore the valleys, pick bananas from the trees, taste the local 'grog' made from local sugar cane, experience a way of life that is still remote and untouched.

Depart Santo Antao - Boa Vista 9th August (again by ferry) or back to San Vincente and fly to Boa Vista ...
Boa Vista is the smaller beach resort to Sal, it is different in that there are no activities other than long golden unspoiled beaches with occasional turtles laying eggs, quiet bars and this is the place in Cape Verde if you want to relax, prepare yourself for the journey home.
Ca Nicola Apartments only 1* but nice clean apartments - 3 days of relaxation

Finally Fly back to Sal 12th August - giving 2 days to wrap up the experience, prepare to go home. buy the holiday momentos and say goodbye to Cape Verde once it has captured your heart..
Bravo Club Vila do Farol Hotel 1* - slightly away from the main beach activities, but what more do you need to gather your thoughts and prepare to go back home...

Sal - London Gatwick August 14th

Cape Verde has to be viewed by it's many islands, this 2 week taster will bring people back again and again with more to see... the black sands and volcano of Fogo the main capital of Santiago all await a return visit to this unique and developing series of islands..

More needs to written about this place, more needs to be shown and more needs to be made available to customers who once they get Cape Verde under their skin will continue to return for more...

Ok Chris .. I hope that is the sort of thing you are looking for, I would certainly be up for making that journey and reporting back in full ...
