Introducing New Find-Rooms Affiliate facilities and Commission Rate

Some of you may already be Find-Rooms affiliates but for those who don't know Find-Rooms, we strive to be one of the best online travel booking companies on the internet. We have been booking holidays for our customers since 1992 and enjoy a phenomenal year on year growth of the site as more and more facilities are offered from 5* to self catering as well as transfers, car hire and tickets/tours for all your holiday needs.

www.find-rooms.com offers huge discounts on properties throughout Spain, Portugal, Balearics, Canary Islands and worldwide and we offer clients the availability to book any duration from 2 nights upwards, with our prices enabling many bookings of 2 weeks and above for places such as Majorca and Benidorm. Average bookings are around £450+ per booking, giving a great commission return and a 365 day cookie for when your customers book with us again, and with representation in resort and full client money security it makes repeat bookings very popular.

Find-Rooms has had an affiliate presence on tradedoubler and its own in-house affiliate system for a long time and we have recently decided to build on this by offering our in-house affiliates even better commission and some great new tools

Firstly, we are raising our in house affiliate commission level from 6% to 7.5% for all travel products including accommodation, transfers, car hire and tickets/tours. We have kept our own margins exactly the same which basically means… same great low prices, better commissions for you! This has to be one of the best commission deals around!

The second change is that we have revamped our affiliate control panel which now enables you to get better statistics live from the system and also hosts our new expanding affiliate tools available for you to use on your website.

For openers the statistics available are…

• Traffic Statistics (current booking month)

Visitors, Unique Visitors, Total Sales, Sales Ratio. We are also including a traffic log that you can use to track visitors back to your own web records by using IP Addresses, Referrer URL’s & Date/Time Stamp.

• Booking Transaction Details

Time of Purchase, Destination, Product Type, Product, Arrival Date, Purchase Amount, Your Credit and Current Booking Status. You can also drill down and get additional information for each booking such as; Full Location, Number of Passengers (adults and children) and also Duration of Stay.

Affiliate tools are now also available to help generate more sales. They include…

• Banners

Create your own self updating ads. All you need to do is select a country (plus a destination and resort if you wish) then copy the resulting code into your website. What you will get is a constantly updating special offer banner that changes every time your page is refreshed/visited.

We are also working on a range of static banners to cut and paste into your site which will be available soon. If you have any requests or ideas for these creatives then please let us know!

• Search Forms

Why not include a dynamic search form on your website which allows your visitors to specify their search criteria before they reach our site. This ensures that they enter our website at the results stage increasing your chances of receiving a sale. Your form can be general including our top eight destinations or you can specify a specific country/destination to be used. A preview is generated at the time you create the form so you can see what it will look like.

• Hotels Feed

Download our accommodation feeds in CSV or XML format, with or without compression. Use these monthly updated feeds to populate your website with relevant accommodation content.

• RSS Special Offers

Using our feed generator you can create URL's pointing directly to our special offer RSS feeds. Include these in your website and you'll receive commissions on any sales received from it.

• XML API

For those with fully dynamic websites, you’ll notice we also now offer an XML API to enable you to request availability and receive responses from our system in XML which can then be displayed however you like on your own website.

If you are currently an in-house Find-Rooms affiliate then you need to do nothing except log into your control panel at the usual URL to see all the new facilities.

The cookie time (as stated in the post) is 365 days. However, you are correct that this is not properly stated in the web site signup form and I will see to it that it gets changed.

Your post is quite long , sorry if I missed some info already there.

Per example: If I do a sale for any merchant in the Affiliate Future network, after 5 days this sale is "confirmed", which means I will be paid next month for that one.

How does your in-house programme handle this?

Hi,

The system classes all purchases as confirmed and commision payable providing they are not cancelled (or fraudulent) within 30 days. In which case you will see this marked as "cancelled" in your control panel.
