The team at Expedia have been very busy over the past few weeks developing more new tools for you to use to boost conversion. Last week we announced the launch of the product feed that will update daily with the latest deals on all hotel products. This week we have news of a new and improved search banner that is live and ready to use now!


SEARCH BOXES

There is a new search box creative available on the Expedia programme. This creative has now been uploaded on to the TradeDoubler system and is accessible through the links tab of the Expedia programme page. The ad ID is: 17466108


PRODUCT FEED

This feed is accessible through the TradeDoubler interface and there are a number of ways that you can integrate the information on your site. You can download the feed in CSV or XML format and feed it into an existing comparison engine you have onsite

* AdTool

You can build a content unit and template within the TradeDoubler interface using AdTool functionality. This can be formatted to fit a bespoke size for your site.

* TD AdMatch

You could use the TradeDoubler AdMatch functionality to present these ads through our contextual solution. Where the copy of your site matches the hotel descriptions within the feed, ads will show for that particular site. This is a great solution to consider if your site is content rich.

COMMISSIONS

Commissions on Expedia are as follows:
Standard - < 250
- Flight 1% per transaction (typically this would earn you between £ 4 and £ 5)
- Car 5.5% per transaction (typically this would earn you between £ 8 and £ 10)
- Hotel 6% per transaction (typically this would earn you between £ 10 and £ 12)
- Holiday 3.5% per transaction (typically this would earn you between £ 16 and £ 20)

Silver - 250 + bookings
- Flight 1% per transaction (typically this would earn you between £ 4 and £ 5)
- Car 6.9% per transaction (typically this would earn you between £ 10 and £ 12)
- Hotel 6.5% per transaction (typically this would earn you between £ 14 and £ 16)
- Holiday 3.5% per transaction (typically this would earn you between £ 20 and £ 22)
