Hi Hobbsy,

Your host would need to change the PHP directive short_open_tag to 1. However I think to prevent issues like this we will try and change all occurences of the short_open_tag to just "<?php echo" which will prevent this being an issue for anyone else.

We'll get a new update out soon.

Hi Happy, thanks for the reply

It was actually just a localhost WAMP install on my own PC that I was having problems with...

(In the meantime I tried out the current Sunpress plugin on a live site online and it worked fine)

I have now changed the 'short_open_tag' to 1 on my localhost and I'm not seeing those errors anymore. That fixed it - thanks for advice

Hi I've been having the same problem, in that my xml feed does not download.

I'm working on WP 2.7

Alan said I might have restrictions on my download limit, but that is not the case.

I've tried de-activating and then re-activating several times but nothing downloads.

All the other pages have been activated and everything else seems to have been ok , but the feeds are crucial for me to take it any further...

Help would be appreciated

I myself have been using wordpress for several of my blogs. It's my favorite. There's a lot of things or rather info in this thread that I wasn't aware of.
