  Travel - White Labels

I am trying to establish just who, in the travel world, offers white label sites, and what the related costs/constraints are.

I have one such site already, and some ideas for more in different travel segments, but although there are a few references in these threads to white label sites, I wonder whether anybody has put together a list of current offerings. (Somebody usually has lists for most other things).

My techie skills are low (OK very low, currently) so I this as a means to get things up and running as I learn how to develop relevant content etc.

Thanks for any info, assistance much appeciated

John

I think a lot of people coming into affiliate marketing these days see white label sites as an easy way into it, as theres already a functioning site, all seems too easy. From my point of view the only way your ever going to make a white label site is if your going to throw money at PPC on it.

Otherwise why would anyone visit your site from the other thousand white label sites?

Using product feeds you can pretty much simulate a white labe lsite but on your own site, and then you have the freedom to add more merchants, more content and build a sustainable site.

Have a go with white labels by all means, but its not a case of "build it and they will come".

Hi John,

Superbreak can offer you a range of partnership options, including white label sites. White labels are one of our most popular options and allow as much or as little customisation as you choose. It's easy to change the look and feel of your pages and you can use our tools to add search functionality, build in your logo, or access our product feeds.

It's free to join and commissions are paid every month (based on the booking date).

For more info please look at the following pages, which tell you all about the different options: http://www.superbreak.com/adminsuite...ateOptions.htm

There's an FAQ section on here too, but if you have any questions feel free to contact me, or my colleague Mick Mason (mick.mason@superbreak.com)

Kind regards

Dan / Karen,

Many thanks for the prompt replies, and helpful comments.

Dan,
I truly see the validity of your comments and know from your regular responses and helpfulness that your knowledge and expertise is well respected in this forum.

I have no illusion that starting out is easy, and also no expectation that I will attract traffic without some significant effort and development over the coming months (and even years).

I learn more everytime I come into this forum, but for me it is all theory, and some of it way too technical at this stage. Your response is a good example of where I may aim to be down the line, but I could no more build a site with data feeds at this stage as hope for Schumaker's seat next year.

I have some ideas about content and am developing this. At this stage I want to put some of into practice.

The white label route seems to provide this opportunity, with a structured site, with a particular focus e.g. type of holiday, or destinations, where I can develop additonal content to wrap around the core provided by the white label.

This, I am hoping will get me into some of the technical aspects, and a better overall understanding of having a site up and running.

Karen,

I have been looking at your site offering and we have already exchanged e-mails on a couple of points over the last few days. You may catch another e-mail from me when you get back into work on Monday.

I am away for a few days this week on family matters but aim to pursue this when I get back.
Thanks

Regards

John

Chris,

Mant thanks for your post. Looks interesting, and I will be having a closer look at the detail over the next couple of days, and come back with any questions.

A couple come to mind immediately:

1. Does the white label option cover all the sites; i.e. Flights / Hotels etc, or just specific elements?

2. Are there a couple of refernece sites I could look at?

Once again thanks for responding.

I am a little surprised there have not been more responses, but Hey, I guess those that are looking to extend their affiliates are the ones likely to respond.

Regards

John

Hi John,

If you'd like to chat about this then please feel free to drop us a PM.

We do white label solutions and they are extremely effective, it just depends into which framework they are implemented.

We'd welcome further discussion about it

Duncan

Matt / Duncan,
Thanks for coming back on this thread.
I will have a look at the reference sites over the next couple of days, and come back to each of you with any questions.

I am on the road a lot at the moment, so time to develop my ideas and progress this is a little limited.

Regards

John

Hi John

I use http://www.activehotels.com who give us a very nice white label solution - our site is http://www.footballhotels.co.uk . I would disagree strongly with Morleymouse as we have never thrown any PPC (apart from a short experiment last week)at it . We use SEO techniques only. I think with the right application and time spent on it then white label can work.

Morleymouse is right in that its not easy - but where would the fun be if it was. We are not technical at all and decided white label was best for us.
