Friendly URLs – all MyTravel Group sites…. (please read)

Dear affiliate,

I am pleased to announce the arrival of “Friendly urls” on the MyTravel Group sites.

In case you have no idea what I am on about, we have just made it far easy for affiliates and customers to locate specified locations on our sites. It’s really easy to work out, basically take the main address for the site and add in the destination at the end... For example….


Destination Level:

www.MyTravel.com/majorca
www.MyTravel.com/ibiza

www.Airtours.co.uk/dominicanrepublic
www.Airtours.co.uk/tenerife

Resort Level:

www.mytravel.com/majorca/alcudia
www.mytravel.com/ibiza/sanantonio

We will shortly be loading a spreadsheet of all the destination/resort “friendly urls” onto the Affiliate Future “Features Pages”. Please use this spreadsheet for you reference (separated by programme – by the tab at the bottom of the spreadsheet). .

Please take the following into account:

1) Only some of the pages are live as friendly URLs - where the destination is not listed in the spreadsheet assume it still has the old URL. New pages and friendly URLs for destinations not done will be put live in the next month and I'll send out an update to you.

2) Old URLs are not going to be turned off but will be archived a few months after all becomes live.

3) URLs are NOT case sensitive.

Something went awry with the alcudia one http://www.mytravel.com/majorca/alcudia as it's not in the Adriatic (which I think is in Italy!)

your'e quite right, its not in the Adriatic Riviera (which is Italy)...

Not sure whats gone on there, will get it seen too asap.
