Hi there,
I'm really pleased to say we've kicked off an affiliate campaign with one of the UK's leading hotel chains, Travelodge.
This is the very first time Travelodge have embarked on any affiliate activity so represents an ideal opportunity for us all to demonstrate the value of the channel.
Initially the campaign is running with a budgetary cap in place - a fairly significant cap, but a cap nonetheless. We can offer a commission of £3.50-£3.80 on every booking
Therefore I'm not opening the campaign out to everyone but I'm looking for some great content sites to showcase Travelodge. I'm working with two PPC affiliates at the moment who are already delivering excellent volumes.
I will of course be updating frequently on delivery so you're fully in the loop on volumes left to deliver.
So what can you do? Well I'm keeping this campaign hidden due to the budget constraints but
am keen to hear from anyone interested in pushing Travelodge.
If you'd like to email me or give me a call with details then please do outlining how you intend to promote Travelodge. Please note if I can't add you immediately then please don't take it personally - I'm having to keep a tight rein on this one with a view to hopefully opening up more activity in the future.
So why would you want to promote Travelodge? A few facts for you...
Currently
c.2.5m unique visitors to the site a month with an
average booking of £55.
Web conversions (click to sale) fluctuate but average out at
around 9% and
80%+ of Travelodge's bookings are online. Travelodge are trying to push as much business onto the web so actually make it positively difficult for anyone to drop offline during the booking process.
There are some great on site offers and we're able to turn around sales on £15, £26, £39 and £49 rooms daily as these are non-refundable.
