  Free tourist brochure

Hello there

I am looking for sites where you can request free travel brochures, and earn a commission for the referrals to them. I'm primarily interested in the UK, but also in Europe and, to a lesser extent, the US.

I've done a bit of looking around and found http://www.catalink.com which appear to offer 40 pence per member sign-up (not a sum per item requested, interestingly) and they appear to be the same as the people behind
travelbrochures.co.uk and catalogica.co.uk from what I can tell.

Are there any others out there doing something similar? I know EnjoyEngland and the Isle of Man tourist board each did something a while back, but ideally I would like to find someone that can offer a full range for the whole of the UK, and hopefully one that offers more favourable commissions.

Found http://www.brochurebank.co.uk and http://www.holidaywizard.co.uk but both have limited inventory and no obvious affiliate scheme. Ditto http://www.all-holiday-brochures.com which has a broken link to a supposed affiliate scheme.

Any pointers to the leader in this area (and the best 'earner' from an affiliate point of view) appreciated.

Thanks.

I've got outstanding commissions from http://www.all-holiday-brochures.com and I'm unable to contact them, I suggest you stay well clear of them. Non of the emails work either.

Has anyone else here used them in the past?

I use Catalink with some success. No experience of others though.

Thanks for that... when I first starting reading that, I confess to getting a little excited as I thought you meant "amazing commissions" when you said "outsanding commissions" but on reading the rest, I now realise that I was interpreting it wrong. Thanks for the heads up.

I'd like to be able to refer people for general brochures (ideally tourist board brochures) on different regions of the UK (Lake District, Cornwall/Devon, etc.) and catalink does seem to be the best geared for this.

Pity you don't get paid per request though. I can't envisage it's hugely lucrative as it stands.

Brochure Bank are/were on buy.at but I also think they had tracking problems. You get something like to 25p per request so nothing major.

...And I've just cheched my link & it now just goes to buy.at! - so now I need to remove that one!

These tend to come and go as as quite short term campaigns with limited inventory.
Best bet is to get your name out to the networks if you can deliver the right traffic, or approach the merchants direct.

There are a lot better deals out there than you've mentioned, but they tend to come all in a flood during the winter.
