What do travel affiliates want?

Looking to collect some info on what travel affilaites want from merchants in there affiliate marketing toolbox?

Xml feeds?
Screenscrape feeds?
White lable booking applications?
Banners and buttons?
% commissions or flat booking fees?
incentive tiers?
bespoke campaigns?

It would be good to here your thoughts on all of the above and more.

I think you will find that when asked questions like this, people will want everything - and then some.

From where I sit - very much at the bottom of the pile - I would like more generic white label options / availability, with the ability to tweak some elements through some very simple tools.

Having dipped my toe in the water a couple of times I admit to struggling with some of the technical stuff.

I dont think there is one solution, everyone prefers different things.

I think you just need to provide everything

If I take a booking for over £1,000, I don't want just £5 for it.

I would believe webservices, that allow use to query against would be at the top of the list, therefore allowing us to create custom white label systems.

For example if I wanted to create a ferry booking website, a webservice where we could say query against availability and return current prices etc... then we could proceed to a booking stage....
