  airport transfers affiliate program anyone?

hi all

i'm in the middle (never 'i'm just finishing off...') a couple of travel affiliate sites and am looking for details of any airport transfer affiliate programs please.

what i'm looking for ideally is a search box facility i can embed into my site on a dedicated transfers page.

dan, i know alpha offer this, and i'll definitely be using you on at least one of my sites; just wondered who else can come up with something for me.

i have a total of 5 sites to build initially, and i'd really like to try as many merchants as possible to start with. following a reasonable time (couple of months), i should then be able to figure out who i want to affiliate with on a longer term basis. fair enough?!

thanks in advance

asher

Hi,

I'm not sure of availability of search boxes, but you'll find these merchants have programmes on Affiliate Future-
  • Transferstore/Alpha Rooms
  • Shuttle Direct
  • Holiday Taxis
  • Resort Hoppa
  • A2B Transfers

Cheers

Hi Chris

Yep I was trying to avoid going through the process for each one, as search boxes rarely feature amongst all the banners & links, whether they actually exist or not!

hey ho, off to AF it is then...

Airport transfer affiliates don't offer good value to the customer in my experience.

I normally find it's a LOT cheaper for the customer to simply get a taxi from the airport then to use these pre booked services.

Hi,

All depends on the route, area and customer. If your landing midday at an airport 10km from your resort, yeah id grab a taxi at the airport.

But if your landing at 2am and have a 60km transfer then its nice to know there will be someone there waiting for you

asher - if you need a hand with transfertore let me know, we've got CVS's of route data, airports served, airport page links, prices etc.

Spiritus, Geneva to Haute Savoie ski resorts on a transfer is about €40. By taxi - a couple of hundred probably.

yep i'm agreeing with dan on this one. for example, benidorm is around a 40 minute drive from alicante airport i.e. not cheap in a cab, but a prebooked taxi or shuttle will save the traveller a sizeable amount.

and let's not forget the convenience factor here. when i was working for an accommodation company we always tried to sell transfers on convenience more than anything. which would you rather do - wait in a queue with your case in the heat for half an hour for an available cab, or walk over to a desk, give your name, be led to your transport & start enjoying your holiday that much sooner?

dan - thanks for the offer; i'm just going to embed the search facility into the appropriate page of my site initially & i DO have a couple of queries... firstly, is it possible to have just a general transfers search? the default destination i found within your affiliates area covers larnarca, cyprus but i'm not going so specific at this stage - i just want a transfers search facility on my transfers page, where users can select their destination/airport, then their resort, dates, people etc. secondly, can i have my own search button within the form rather than your yellow 'search now' button? i'd like my site to be as consistent as possible throughout all pages. you can email me at webmaster@ezbedz.com with a response if you prefer, rather than take up space here...

cheers

asher

p.s. if anyone takes a look at the ezbedz.com site, i KNOW it isn't finished yet
