Wow, impressive. A really expandable site. Love the attention to detail, the AJAX and stuff must've taken an age to code, but the end result looks great.

How you going to advertise it, flyers on cruises? Seems like a good way to get traffic to the photo sharing feature. Best of luck!

The design is great but I can't find any affiliate links. The ABTA, ATOL and IATA logo, together with the 'request a quote' facility make it look like you're a travel agent.

Could you explain what makes this an affiliate site, as if it is, it has been done with extreme attention to detail and blogworthy like urbane blinds?

Wink Re: this time next year will be millionaires...

Thanks for all the comments.

The tracking is via a call centre, so I'm a bit like a lead generator then they convert the inquiries.

I have the space at the top of the site to add a affiliate banner, might go for Sky or Expedia. I have teamed up with a small travel agents who are going to answer the calls and take the bookings and we will spilt the commission. The main problem I found out after I started was that only 0.8% of cruises are booked on line. doh!!

But hopefully this will change in the next 12 months, the site is still empty needs people to join add profiles, reviews etc

still loads of improvements I want to make, I'm happy with the design, but some of the functions and the way the site flows need improving! Will get onto these in the next 7 days

cheers T

Looks Good! Wish you the best of luck and it seems you have an innovative method for tracking.

We would love to offer a cruise affiliate program, but can only see click-to-call providing the solution. If any cruise affiliates wanted to share their thoughts with me on this technology, drop me an email at simon.applebaum@thomascook.com.

Maybe thats because there isnt a good booking site - until now!

Or maybe its because old people go on cruises and dont use the internet! That will change!

GL!

Setup a hotel/flight version on the same template. You've done most of the hard work with the coding, could try and take advantage of both angles
