Becoming a Super Affiliate

Hi Guys,

This thread is actually geared to any affiliate, big or small, that are looking to enhance their affiliate marketing skills. When I first started out in the affiliate marketing business, I was getting a couple of casual leads here and their, and it took me a long time to refine my skills.

Somebody once told me, how hard is it for one person to give you just 1 dollar a month. That's it! Now, why don't you try to go and find a million of those folks, and you got a million dollars in the bank. How easy, right? Wrong! The thing is, traffic does exist on the web, and if you can get a good converting offer and you have the traffic sources, you'll be making more money than you can count. If you are looking to become a super affiliate, or a good enough affiliate where you can make a decent living out off, consider the following:

1. What kind of offer are you running, and who is your demographic? If your running a video game offer, look for video game traffic. For instance, running the offer on a health site might not convert well for you. Look at your offer, and compare the traffic, and see if you can find a good fit.

2. How much traffic are you able to get? This is probably the hardest. Anybody can sign up to an affiliate network, and have access to hundreds of offers. However, can you get the distribution? One way to build up your distribution is to start small. Anybody can get access to Google's adwords program for example. Test it out. If you can make some money there, start contacting individual sites on the internet. Do your research on websites out there. Once you've done that, try hitting up an adnetwork, or affiliate network, and see if you can partner with them. The list goes on and on and on....

Everything happens starting with the first step. I was an affiliate for a long time, and I am now the CEO of GoOffers.net. All it takes is believing that you can make good money on the internet.

How about listing the advertisers that are part of your network on your website?

I would never register as affiliate with an unknown network like yours, if I don't even see what advertisers I will be able to promote. In fact I wouldn't register with a well know network either unless I know in advance that they have an advertiser I'm interested in promoting.

Also it's very easy to set up a web site claiming to be an affiliate network, but unless you are well known and have a good reputation I wouldn't give you any personal details of mine. After all who can guarantee me that you are not just a scamster looking to collect personal details for spam-lists, id-theft, etc.?
