    Hi,

I currently have several websites whihc are UK based and I mainly use Tradedoubler as my affilate network.

I am planning on launching my business in the US some time this year and would like to get things organised. I am trying to source one or two networks in the US which offer a similar service to that of TD. ie, deals with untracked sales, provides custom fields in links, good reporting, and good tracking. etc

Can anybody make a recommendation of someone you use in the US?

If you are running it from the UK, even better!!

ps, I have been told that Buy.at is a good one in the US but you need to basically live there as they require you to have a US addreess and bank account. Any thought on this?

    Many thanks,

I just signed up with shareasale. They seem quite professional and their clients are the big players in my sector.
You can opt to be paid by direct credit to your uk bank as well, which is a plus as us dollar cheques can be costly to cash.

Not sure - there's no mention on the help pages. I would imagine you would have to raise it with them if you thought your links were not tracking?

Share a Sale is above and beyond the best for tracking, etc... in the USA. They are quickly gaining ground on CJ, Linkshare and Performics. They offer real time tracking and reporting, widgets, make a page tools, etc... Share a Sale also has some of the big name brands opening up in their network too. We just opened one of our clients on there as a second network and are loving it. They also do a good job at keeping adware out of the network.

Bridaluxe is an all wedding network here in the USA which is also good. They have a fantastic PHP store which is easy to install into your site. All of their merchants have the same tracking code so when the cookie is set it works across Merchants.

Avantlink is an up and coming network. What makes them unique is their Datafeed Tools. Easy store integration, etc... However they are very picky about who they let into their network.

    Hi Kudos,
Here's a good list of US affiliate networks. US Affiliate Marketing Networks You should be very careful about who you join. Many networks contain spyware and adware affiliates that cannibalize your commissions. The hot topic of the moment over here is the use of browser installs that also fall into the category of skeptical affiliate activity and hijack sales. Check out abestweb for more details on the networks you join, it's all there.

You can use Webgains in US if you have a UK affiliate account. Webgains has the ability to record untracked sales but you need to be a premium partner to use this technology. This means you need to have a reputation for high quality traffic and also be approved by the merchant. We also have all the tools you need, custom link tracking, real time reporting, web service etc etc. Feel free to drop us a line if you need any help.

I highly recommend Commission Junction. They are light years ahead of their competition in the US. They have quality, brand-name offers and great tracking. I have been using CJ from an affiliate and merchant side for 7 years. My company currently manages 20 CJ US accounts so I do have a frame of reference. I won't disparage the other networks, only to say that I prefer CJ for the above reasons.

I don't know about the specifics you asked about. I'm in the US so don't know everything involving those who aren't living in the US either.

"Many networks contain spyware and adware affiliates that cannibalize your commissions. The hot topic of the moment over here is the use of browser installs that also fall into the category of skeptical affiliate activity and hijack sales."

Yeap lol quite a very hot topic. lol

Yeap.....most definitely. From what I've heard you guys over here are soooooooo much more ethical than a lot of the US affiliates. Definitely not including me. lol I'm an ethical affiliate but unfortunately we do have an awful lot who aren't.

I don't want to contradict one of your members so will just say that in regards to that last post......umm most affiliates would not probably agree with that opinion.

I agree with Rollerblader, who's actually a friendly face to me here lol I finally found somebody I know.
I'm an affiliate with AvantLink, Bridaluxe, Buy.at and just signed up with Webgains (you know about them tho since they're over here) AvantLink, Bridaluxe, Buy.at all have very good reputations and Shareasale does, too. There have been some discussions involving them recently that aren't too pleasing to all of us but they're considered by most affiliates to still be better than the Big 3 networks (in relationship to the parasites, adware, etc.)

AvantLink is probably the most advanced as far as technology.
