How much RAM should Apache, PHP, MYSQL and Centos use on a server??

400meg of ram was being used by these processes....

That normal?

That sounds quite low - depends how you are using the MYSQL database though

Stop services you do not need. For example, if you don’t use email on your server, stop email and pop3/imap services. Continue optimizing the scripts installed on your site. It is rather possible that one of the scripts on oyur hosting account might not optimized for low memory usage and that could cause issues for you. If you have trouble, disable each, one by one, till you find the one that is causing the problems

How much RAM does your server have and is your current memory usage causing you problems? Linux will use all available RAM in the most efficient way possible so if you don't have any performance problems then don't worry too much about usage.
