Anybody still working at UK2 ?

Hello all,

please help me with a contact from UK2. I registered 2 domains with them 5 days ago, took my money and since then I've been waiting for the account details.

I called, but nobody answered, same story with the online chat...

I got the details today. however, i have to say that this week I called all the numbers listed on the site repeatedly, but all i got was music for at least 10 minutes.

hopefully now, since I've been checked, things will move faster.

Billing

Technical Support

For any questions regarding Domain Names, Web Hosting, E-commerce or E-mail, please call 0905 168 0086 (calls charged at 50p per minute).

I was really not aware that they charge for PHONE SUPPORT. They only provide 24x7 support through Email which every newbie can offer.

I wasn't aware they offered support, but maybe UK2 have improved things in recent years. Didn't exactly have the best reputation in support should we say, but think that was in the days when it was mostly email only. (Quick Google search will reveal all).

Paid for support isn't that uncommon especially when companies offer very low prices. It's their way to make the money back, although some like Freeserve when it existed didn't charge past about 10 mins for support. Not sure about the above.
