I have a bit idea of shared Hosting & clustered Hosting .
There are different types of Hosting .What are these ? please Explain!

Hosting depending on OS requirement ..
1) Linux server Hosting
2) Windows Server Hosting

Most of the times there are sites that can only be hosting on Windows OS due to requirements like ASP.net pages

lol it seems that you are not aware of the forum rules here. If you want your signature to appear in every post then make sure that the post length is good enough. The post length should meet the criteria as defined by the forum admins, only after that your signature will be visible in the posts.

Generally if you don't know what sort of hosting you need, you probably need the cheapest package they've got.


When you have complicated needs you probably have the compicated knowledge to go with it so you know what you should be looking for.

The biggest difference is usually with the control panel - and how easy it is to use. Check out the sites for details of this as many of the good sites will tell you, explain with a demo, and let you try it out. Don't sign a long contract on webhosting that you don't really know what the control system is. Some are awful and just frustrating to use.

There are three type of hosting
Virtual web hosting: you can share your web server with other domains. You will be given some small partition of storage space on the web server.
Dedicated web hosting: whole web server is dedicated to single domain. No need to share it with any other domain. You have full control over the control panel, operating system etc of the web server.
Reseller web hosting: you can purchase a huge amount of hosting package and then sell it in small packages to other clients.
